This felt like a totally different book from the previous one. The characters felt different, the story, different, even the writing. I did like this one more than the first. Ripp is a character that'll leave you scratching your head and wondering what the hell is going on in that mind of his that's for sure! Would love to read about Alec so I hope this was set up for a book about him next. I guess we shall see.
